Just wanted to let you know that I received your tool in very good
shape. It took eight calendar days to reach me ( I live near Seattle
Washington. Your instructions were very clear and concise. It took me less

sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I received CarbTune on Friday,
having ordered it on Tuesday - Excellent I had my excuse to spend Saturday
in the garage ! The product is great, instructions excellent but boy is it
difficult to get at the adjusting screws on an NC35 Honda. ….Anyway got the carbs
balanced spot on and the result was the elimination of a hesitancy in pick
up on the Honda.
Two weeks later a mate dropped by on his Hurricane 750 and as a by the by I
mentioned we could possibly look at his carbs. Ten minutes later they were
sorted. My mate was amazed - so much so that I reckon he will want a CarbTune of his own.

Carbtune arrived first post. Read instructions which were great, Built up test rig using my old lawnmower fuel tank and fitting adapters and tubes etc this evening. Although it didn't look far out, after adjusting the setup to run bang on even the tickover was wonderful. None of the rattles from the clutches even when set to tickover really slow! Thank you very much for such prompt delivery and helpful advice on the phone last week.
As you suggested the system was extremely easy to use. I didn't have the luxury of having a spare auxillary tank to use as a fuel supply. However once connected up (Yamaha very kindly put balance hoses on the R6 to aid tuning) I was able to balance the carbs within the manufacturers tolerances with the fuel left in the float bowls. The bike now revs sweetly all the way to the rev limiter - I don't think it was this good even when first bought!

The carbtune I ordered late Friday, August 30th, (sent Monday 2nd Sept) arrived here in Pennsylnia on Saturday, September the 7th. And that inlcuded the Labor Day holiday! It was a few days before I could use it but when I did I was surprised at how much the carbs were out of sync on my Yamaha V-Max. I just got the carb tune in the mail.. placed order sat aug 24 received it
tues sept 3.Long Island N.Y.. just to let you know, it took me 4 min to sync
up my carbs on my 89 yamaha radian. just to add some info, I have both
mercury and dial synchronizers,the dials are a horror forget them,And I had
a mercury carb sync tool for two weeks that's how long it took for the tubes
to break,(and i am very careful with my tools).Mercury all over my arm and
the garage floor, NOT GOOD.Not to mention the on going problem with moister
in the mercury tubes.So I was looking for weeks at electronic sync tools,way
to much money.By far hands down no fuss no muss to the T sync up with Carbtune! no dangerous mercury or false reading dial gauges. I had the rest now

Just to let you know I wore a pair of the Laserlite earplugs at a gig I worked last night, and I can say that they are absolutely AWESOME!! :o)
They are very comfortable to wear and they certainly do the business. At one point I was stood by the main stack of amps, I could feel the "shockwave" from the sound of them. I could hear everything perfectly, but my ears were soundly protected by the plugs. So I am one very happy camper :o)
So you can put up on the site that they are not only good for using whilst riding your bike, but they do a fantastic job at the loudest of concerts!!!

Today I used it to synchronize my "99 Concours. I have to admit, your Carbtune is
the easiest I've ever used. In the 70's I had a set of vacuum gages, they
where very difficult to use and frustrating to boot. I'd bought a Mercury
Manometer about 4 years ago, this worked fine, but proved to not be
durable. Yours is the best I've ever used. Good job.

I ordered the Carbtune II on 24 June and I received it on 3 July,
not too bad! I took it out of the box, scanned the instructions and went to
the garage and started taking the bike apart (2002 Ninja 500R). The
suggestion about using a lawnmower tank for an auxillary tank is brilliant.
Worked like a charm. I set up the Carbtune according to the "rules",
connected it to the carb and started the bike. Five minutes later (or less)
I had the carbs synchronized perfectly. The reason it took me so long is
that I have never used the tool before and I wanted to take my time to get
it just right. Words cannot accurately describe how easy the tool is to
use! The bike starts easier, has much less vibration (it feels "soft"), the
"holy sh_t" factor is back during a hard acceleration, and I am seeing an
increase in gas mileage. The Carbtune II is a must have for any
motorcyclist! Bravo on producing a top rate tool.

Dear John,
So you can add me to the list of satisfied customers. The Carbtune
sure works as well as it looks. Even with the compact size,
sensitivity to small setting changes was excellent. Hanging from the
handlebar of my 96 K1100RS BMW would not work as the bar does not
extend past the fairing. I was however, able to hang the unit from
the top vent loover of the fairing side panel. With that set up I was
able to pull up a little bench and do the job sitting down with
everything right in front of me. Sweet!

Hi John, I received the Carbtune within 6 working days from the time you sent it. It was waiting for me in the mailbox when I got home, no duty to pay or nothing. I had it set up on the bike and the carb adjusted within 40 mins. I can't beleive how out

I thought I would just drop you a quick line to say what a cracking bit of kit the carbtune II is.
I actually bought it at the Birmingham NEC last year from you. So instead of letting it gather dust I thoght I would pluck up the courage and give it a go today.
My last experience with balancing carbs was on my old Z650 with some crappy dial gauges I borrowed of a mate. Bloody nightmare!!
I have got a 1996 Triumph speed triple and I did the shims a couple of months a go so I thought, good time to now do the carbs.
I followed your instructions and it was an absolute breeze. I even managed to do it off the float bowls, with a bit of pre planning. I was surprised how much the carbs were out from the reference carb.
Best bit of kit I have bought for ages.
I dont know if its my imagination, but the bike sounds quieter in tick-over.

Third business day delivery is even faster service then you had projected. I
used it immediately to sync the carbs on my 2002, V-Star 1100 Classic (Drag
Star). I can't tell you how pleased I am, as it is everything that your web
site promised. In addition, I am very pleased at the compact size of the

I received the Carbtune on Tuesday, May 28. It probably would have been delivered on Monday the 27, but that was Labor Day holiday and the mail didn't run.

As for ease of use: Upon getting home, I grabbed the package and cracked her open. Taking the instructions, I headed down to the reading room (John) and took about 5 minutes studying the manual. Afterwards, it was off to the garage for the EASY 10 minute procedure (and that includes the removal of the tank, panels, seat and hooking the tank up remotely). My word, what a major improvement in running! I think your tool should be encased in gold, for that is what it is worth to anyone who is a DIY motorcycle mechanic like me!
If I could offer any suggestions for your product it would be for the design and sale of case to hold the tool, hoses and fittings in a manner in which it richly deserves.
One very happy customer!!!

J'ai reçu la colonne et les accessoires Mardi 21/05 soit 4 jours aprés ma commande. Je félicite la société Carbtune pour la rapidité d'exécution.
Je l'ai branché, sur ma HONDA 1000 CBX, comme il est décrit sur le manuel qui est trés complet, ........ et le fonctionnement c'est avéré parfait.
J'ai ainsi pu synchronisé mes 6 carburateurs, l'utilisation d'un tournevis spécial pour les vis de synchro est indispensable !
Voila, encore merci pour tout John....
Je recommande cette colonne Carbtune au moins à tous les mécaniciens "privés" ou même professionnels.....son prix est trés interressant et fonctionne comme les "anciennes" colonnes à mercure...
Bref, impeccable !!!!

Ordered you carbtune kit on saturday morning and received it first post tuesday morning
My Honda goldwing 1100GL interstate was ticking over on three cylinders on tickover
When a connected up you carbtune kit and started the engine there was a three inch gap between the lowest and highest reading,within half an hour i had all the tubes level (and i mean level) The engine ticks over at 950rpm with the rev counter stable and running on all four cylinders for the first time in the 15 months i have had the goldwing.
My mate who i bought the bike off came round for which he had the bike for two years and said that is the best it has ever ticked over,and the engine is so smooth

HI John I ordered the Carbtune on the 9th 05/02 at 10:00am and it was at my
door on the 10th 05/02 at 9:00am. This is the fastest post ever. I got the
carbtune at 9:00am and before 10:00am I had the carbs tuned and the bike was
back on the road. The power difference is awesome both low and high revs.

Hi John, Balanced the carbs (FZR 750 Genesis) at the
weekend. Carbtune easy to set up, excellent to use,
all carbs balanced within minutes. It took longer to
get to the carbs. Engine running sweeter, power and

I'VE RECENTLY PURCHASED THE CARBTUNE II. AFTER USING ANOTHER CARB SYNCHRONIZER FILLED WITH MERCURY, THE CARBTUNE II IS MORE ACCURATE WHEN MAKING CARB ADJUSTMENTS. I ALSO LIKE THE FACT THAT THERE ARE NO HAZARDOUS MATERIALS (MERCURY) THAT HAVE TO BE DEALT WITH HAVING KIDS IN THE HOUSE. I USED YOUR CARBTUNE II ON MY 2000, VMAX. Further to confirming receipt of my Carbtune 2. I got round to setting up my
carbs today and what a difference. At the first attempt I got the carbs
balanced better than they had been set up by a dealer recently. …… rebalancing the carbs the 'bike is running much more smoothly. A good piece of kit and easy to use…
